Join us for the Global Seminar Series 2016 Intensive program

As the world continues to become even more interconnected and change even faster, we recently saw the tremendous advances in AI and machine learning as world top-rated professional Go player lost the series to Alpha Go with 1-4.
Creative thinking and innovative ideas make us humans distinctive and different from machines and technology, as study after study shows that almost half of our current jobs are taken over by robots and AI.

How do we develop creative thinking and continue to generate innovative ideas? One suggestion we often hear is to increase exposure to diverse sources of information and to different fields/groups/people, as this exposure brings to the surface our latent creative potential and triggers innovative ideas.

Specifically, how do we make ourselves leave the “safe & secure” context and take ourselves out of our “comfort zone”?One simple idea is to change physical position/location to generate different perspectives. Do you find yourself always seated at the same seat for the meetings? Do you always see the world from your own eye level?
Even changing the seat for a meeting will make you see things from a different perspective. You can try it to see how it works!

We often say that children are very creative and adventurous, and we all were at one time very young like them. Have you ever imagined how the world looks to the children who are much shorter than we are? You can try calling your own call center and apply for service as a consumer, to actually see your service from “customers view.”

“Having perspectives” “Changing viewpoints”, “Thinking about issues from a variety of viewpoints” may sound at first to be very overwhelming and difficult. But we can actually experiment by changing our seating and/or location in meetings, lowering our view from the ground zero.

Why not join us at the Intensive workshop series of GAS 2016 and see how easy it is to change your perspective and to generate multiple views? This is a workshop where you will be “learning by doing”. If you want to practice in addition to being exposed to different ideas, this program is for you.
